Nazim, the thousand and one faced man, is one of the oldest Ayiyars in Sonbhandra. And he knows some very old tricks too. Noone knows the face underneath the mask. Some say it is deformed beyond recognition due to his overuse of Gulabi -- the tilismi sap the oozes out of the old trees in the jungle. Gulabi gives him the power to change his appearance to anyone he wants. But it also takes away something of his own away. Everyone knows this.

But no-one knows what is under that mask.
